For some the prospect of a new Island popping up on their coastline is something to be celebrated, but, unbeknownst to them and most of humankind this is a frightening portent of what is to come, let me explain. . . The torque being applied to the Australian-Indian tectonic plate through angular momentum, due to increased mass in the form of water, is pulling the plate eastward forming breaks in the sea crust and causing subduction at points with the Pacific tectonic plate, causing, as you well know, the earthquakes off the coast of Japan and New Zealand. So, whilst being great for some on the Arabian peninsula in the short term, it spells the end for many in the future. . .
