Best and worse case scenarios with COPOUT 17. . .

2011-12-16 at 08:20

I love the fact that by calling the Green house effect and Global Warming by a new term i.e, ‘Climate Change’, it denotes a natural and not a man made phenomena, and, thereby, dissolving man’s responsibility and culpability in this respect. . . ‘Nope, it’s Climate Change so just get use to it!’
Instead of trying to put a fund together for relief that will never happen. Get to grips with the core issue, not, ‘Let’s use as much coal and oil and pollute the planet, then we can cap our carbon wastage in 2020, or not!’
Bottom line is we have polluted the atmosphere with carbon, therefore we have to stop produce carbon and go back to, at the very least, the levels of 1990. Scale back and creation will see the light of day, do not expect things to continue as they are because it is just not possible. You have been weighed and measured, and, unfortunately, come up short. . . Or you could look at it from Alfred. E. Newman’s perspective from MAD comics, ‘What, me worry!’
New York, Washington, Florida, L.A, London, Holland, Belgium, Venice, Auckland, all the Pacific Islands and others around the globe, all submerged, a microcosm of the devastation to come. . . This is the good news from COPOUT 17, the best case scenario from its outcome. Oh, did I forget to mention the famine and floods?
